It’s been nearly two months since College Football 25 has been out, and I’ve seen a ton of different streamers/gamers express their boredom with the game. This happens with all sports games, after being out for a couple months and if you play it nearly everyday, eventually it’ll seem boring at times. Whether the gamer moved on to playing Madden now that NFL season is here as well, or even some have started playing NBA 2K, NCAA Football still has a lot to offer.
So this article is for the gamer that is bored of the game. After looking around the different Game Modes, and checking out other streamers, I’ve put together a few fun challenges for you to take your experience with NCAA Football 25 to the next level.
Dynasty Challenges
Five-Year Dynasty Challenge
This is a popular challenge I’ve seen with streamers that I still have to do. Personally, I play on Heisman difficulty, but if you play on a lower difficulty, go up one difficulty level above what you normally play, and start a dynasty with a two or three star school. Give yourself five years to turn that school into a National Champion. The harder the difficulty, obviously that’s what makes this a challenge. Choose an Air Force, Ball State, UL Monroe, Kennesaw State, and recruit your butt off and create a National Champion in five years and your challenge is complete. Either way, once your five years is over, move on to another team.
Turning a Basketball School into a Football School
This is the challenge I am currently doing. I wrote in a College Football 25 Facebook group I am in and told them I had the idea to turn a University that is mostly known for its basketball program, and turn them into a football powerhouse. Many comments included teams like Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Uconn, and Arizona. Another fun challenge that is slightly easier than the five-year dynasty, but the other people in the group were really inspired by this idea. Again, the higher the difficulty, the more challenging this is, so have fun with it. With my first challenge, I chose the Virginia Cavaliers.
Road To Glory
Work up from Underdog
Start off as an underdog recruit in Road To Glory and work your way up as a top player in college football. Since you’re only rated a 60 to start off, the worse the college, the more likely you are to play early on. Train and improve (redshirt your freshman year) hit the transfer portal and wind up at the perfect college to finish your career. This was the first challenge I did with Road To Glory. Starting off as an elite recruit isn’t as appealing to me, since you’re already a 79. There’s already no story leading up to selecting your college, so I feel like having a longer, tougher journey in your college career in Road To Glory is more exhilarating. I have yet to finish this challenge, admittedly due to spending a ton of time in dynasty, but my running back Prince King has been off to a great start. I started at Colorado State, and recently transferred to USC for my sophomore season.
Elite Recruit on a Smaller School
If you are a player that does enjoy starting off as an elite recruit, I’ve got the challenge for you. Instead of going to the traditional Alabama, Michigan, Ohio State, etc, go to a small school (one of the worst rated colleges in the game) and stay there the entirety of your four years. Do your best to break school records and become a Heisman candidate on a team like UTEP, Eastern Michigan, or one of the schools rated 75 and below. This is my next challenge, and I cannot wait to begin.
Now, you’ve all got some challenges and some homework to do with College Football 25. If you try out any of my challenges, please comment and let me know the progress. I love seeing other people’s experience with this game as it is what keeps me engaged with the game and trying to find new ways to enjoy it.
