The best creations from College Football '25 Team Builder

Despite some strange glitches plaguing its launch, the reintroduction of Team Builder in EA Sports College Football 25 has been met with fanfare by the majority of the community.

And my, has the community been busy.

Whether it be accurate recreations of real-life FCS schools or nods to some of the best football teams from television and movie history, there are literally thousands of user-created programs available for you to download and test out in Play Now or import into a dynasty.

Here are a few of my personal favorite Team Builder creations since its release.

Blue Mountain State

Fun fact: Blue Mountain State was the first show I ever watched on Netflix. My friends and I used Netflix Party Mode — one of the great inventions of the 21st century — on the Xbox 360 to watch it together.

Now Xbox users can play out their own stories as the Mountain Goats thanks player CannotGetDrunk. I feel whoever takes over this program will have their hands full off the field. Think UGA but 10x worse.

University of Taco Bell

As a known Fourth Meal™ enjoyer, I couldn’t put a list together without including what might be my favorite creation I’ve seen so far, the University of Taco Bell. Wait, I’m sorry. THE University of Taco Bell. That’s better.

User theweatherman22 went all out for this one, giving the school an iconic home stadium complete with a purple field. He also created three different jersey combos, including a Live Mas Blackout version that is just *chef’s klss*.

The thought of a custom conference with Taco Bell and some of the other fast food teams made using Team Builder is too tantalizing a prospect to pass up. Maybe once they patch in the ability for you to choose your own rival. Then it’s game over for Del Taco.

The Big Sky Conference

I have family in Montana, so I felt obligated to share these stunning recreations of Montana, Montana State and the rest of the FCS’ Big Sky Conference by user MontanAAfootball.

While not completely finished, MontanAAfootball plans to knock out the entire conference before moving onto other FCS schools. But for now, you can enjoy tearing up the gridiron with several teams, including South Dakota State and North Dakota State, who have combined for 11 of the last 13 FCS National Championships overall.

Whatever team you decide to take over in the top FCS football conference, maybe avoid locating your stadium close to Yellowstone National Park. From what recently happened at Biscuit Basin, it seems like something is brewing underground there.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway

In one of the stranger collaborations I’ve seen, someone from Indianapolis Motor Speedway seemingly created a team based off the iconic track, which hosts Formula 1’s Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Brickyard 400 every year.

Complete with asphalt-colored turf and a special set of jerseys commemorating the 2025 Indy 500, this new program is for players who truly want to go fast.

The Canadian Football League

For our friends north of the border, you can now live out your dreams of playing in the CFL in College Football 25. User Hack28yqr has already faithfully made all nine teams, from the BC Lions to the 2023 Grey Cup champion Montreal Alouettes.

While he has already finished with the jerseys and fields, Hack28yqr is still working to make sure the rosters for each team are accurate in terms of player names and numbers. That’s the kind of grind I can respect.
